Hi all,
It was two years ago we had a screenshot contest. Now, it's finally time to open up a new screenshot contest, for both Desktop and Smartphone, yeeeha!
Submission will run from today, 5 March, to 24 March. Voting will start on 25 March to 31 March. The winners will be announced on 1 April.

Contest Rules:
1: Only 1 submission per member per month. Desktop and Phone/Tablet are separated contests, i.e. you are allowed to submit 1 submission to each contest.
2: Keep to group rules as if you were posting in the normal screenshot folder.
3: Any submissions posted after time frame will not be accepted and removed from the contest for that month.
5: Submissions must have been uploaded this month, older submissions are removed.
6. You cannot vote on your own submission.
7: Any OS is accepted!
The winners will have their submissions collected and placed in the superior "Contest Desktop Winners" lsf-da-group.deviantart.com/ga… and "Contest Smartphone Winners" lsf-da-group.deviantart.com/ga… - folders. Only the submissions that won the contest will be placed there.

Dropbox systray-icons
Dropbox systray-icons shows a white ugly background which seems to be a never-ending behavior in GNU/Linux. I found an ugly work-around around this by first creating a 32x32 pixel large png-image with a background matching the panel background of your systray. Then, copy-paste your custom Dropbox-icon in your created image. Then overwrite the files located at:
/opt/dropbox/dropbox-lnx.x86_64-3.4.4/images/hicolor/16x16/status/
and perhaps in
~/.dropbox-dist/dropbox-lnx.x86_64-3.4.4/images/hicolor/16x16/status/
depending of which version you use (I use Dropbox 3.4.4).

Unfortunately, only one screenshot was submitted to the Smartphone Screenshot Contest, so I guess we already have a winner here! The winners will be announced on 1 April.
For the Desktop Screenshots, you simple send me a message for the screenshot you would like to give a vote for though you cannot vote for your own submission. The format of the message should be like this:

Group Changes
Hello people,
to put it bluntly, this group has, in the last few years, turned into one of those accept everything dumpster type of groups. We accepted pretty much everything that was desktop related, sometimes not even close to that, and we also had a shitload of gallery folders, which were honestly a pain to navigate.
The original idea behind the group was that we would be accepting quality Linux screenshots, and nothing else. No wallpapers, no themes, no icons, just screenshots; those all have their own groups, and if you go to, say, a wallpaper group, you get to browse wallpapers, and that's that. That's cool, because they focus on one
